Golden
Heart Winner Elle James (the nice sister)

In
2000 when award winning author Delilah
Devlin issued that challenge to her sister, Elle, to
become published or bust-Delilah wasn't about to let Lil Sis
leave her in the dust! Since then she's won numerous RWA Chapter
Contests (including the Maggie) and finally found her niche
in hot, steamy romantica. She's sold fourteen novels to Ellora's
Cave in the past two years, and these weren't novels she had
collecting dust under her bed! Currently, she's working on
her fifteenth novel for Ellora's Cave and several proposals
for a run at the New York publishers. She's a powerhouse writer
with Writer's Attention Deficit Disorder (WADD). A former
officer in the US Army, she's led a life of adventure, which
inspires her fast-paced and humorous books. Delilah quit her
DDJ (Dratted Day Job) to pursue writing full-time. She has

Layla
Chase has been associated with Delilah and Elle since
that infamous January in 2000 when they formed a critique
group and challenged each other to create better stories.
She has just signed a contract with Amber Quill Press for
her first erotic historical. Five of her manuscripts and a
sexy novella have finaled in RWA contests and she is multi-published
in romantic short fiction. Years of administrative support
jobs and her love of romance provide a solid base for her
work as an editor for an electronic publishing house. A native
northern Californian, Layla has relocated to Oregon, southern
California and Texas following her husbands career adventures.
Along the way, they raised three children to adulthood and
continue to guide a teenager on her path. www.LaylaChase.com |
Megan
Kerans began creating stories long before she could
read. Much to everyone's surprise those early imaginative
tales captured the full attention of her fellow pre-schoolers
and made devoted fans of her stuffed animals. Growing up,
Megan traveled extensively. If she wasn't reading about daring
escapades, she was watching them. Together they gave her a
love of adventure, romance, and story telling. Never
one to back down from a challenge, her sexy vampire pirate
series Dead Men Tell Tales - Moonlight Pirate began with dare
in January 2006 from writing friends Delilah Devlin and Elle
James. The paranormal erotic novella became her first sale.
Megan quickly followed the success with "The Devil's
Paradise" as part of the Damned Dangerous & Delicious
anthology Book I with Kensington's Aphrodisia line. A
native Chicagoan, with Wisconsin roots, Megan currently lives
in San Antonio, Texas with her husband, an overly intelligent
Abyassian and two flame point Siamese. The little time not
spent writing, or cat herding, she enjoys reading, making
her annual pilgrimage to Walt Disney World, graphic design,
and listening to a variety of music. ...for Adventure

Beverly
Oz has been writing since 2003 when an unexpected
surgery had her staying at home for three months. Determined
to do more than eat Little Debbie snacks, drink diet Dr. Pepper,
and watch game shows and Oprah on television all day long,
she picked up a pad of paper and a pencil and started writing
her first romance. Her story, The Diversion, was a big hit
with most readers, winning third place in The Emily, West
Houston Romance Author's writing contest. Beverly now plays
the Texas lotto on Wednesdays and Saturdays in hopes she will
win enough money to quit her job and write full time. She
is currently working on a chick lit novel, due to be out sometime
in 2010, if all goes well and an editor buys it! You get the
idea... |
Eve
Savage began her education in a small village
school in England and honed it during her extensive travels
throughout the world. Originally a poet, she started writing
romances in high school based on the escapades of her
friends, frequently exaggerating the middles and changing
the endings to suit her own vicarious needs. After finding
another writer who shares her bent sense of reality at
a chapter conference, Eve started the Mt. Helicon Muses
group. Other writers soon joined in and the loop has grown
into a wonderfully diverse support group she can't live
without. Eve's in her third year as newsletter editor
for her home RWA chapter and has been active in the critique
group. She regularly judges contests and has finaled in
some she has entered. Eve began studying Witchcraft in
high school and started actively practicing during University.
She has done extensive study in Mythology and all things
paranormal. There are editors who've requested her work
and as soon as they realize how incredibly talented Eve
is, she'll sell and buy all the Muses a victory "cock"tail.
She does write erotica after all.... www.EveSavage.com

It
came as no surprise when Allie
Standifer decided she wanted to write humorous,
adventure-filled romance stories. After all her life has
been one of constant adventure-from surviving the wilds
of oft-flooding, hurricane magnet South East Texas where
she lives to growing up in Saudi Arabia where her brother
tried to sell her to Bedouins (for what amounts to less
than $1.50). Drawing on her own weird experiences, Allie
knew her books could never be about hum drum boy meets
girl. Her stories have a decidedly paranormal twist to
them, filled with past lives, chain e-mail sending oracles,
magic, sexy gods, and heroines who know exactly what they
want. Which led to Allie to her first sale to Triskelion
Publishing for her book Poseidon's Prophesy. Allie is
a staunch supporter of breast cancer charities, endometriosis
and diabetes research. When not writing the stories of
all the people in her head, Allie can be found fighting
off her demonic cat, chasing a dog with a penchant for
purple, trying to avoid the kitchen and grocery stores
at all costs, and trying not to think about her next deadline.

Betty
Hanawa writes romances ranging from contemporary
to paranormal to future societies, all with spicy scenes and
a huge dollop of humor that frequently slides into the ironic.
Several of her older titles are being rewritten and reissued
while new stories are finding their way to publishers. In
addition to fiction, Betty is a contributor to Roses Colored
Glasses and LiQuid Magazine
Her husband hopes she becomes successful enough that he can
retire and be kept in the manner in which he's kept her all
these years. Her son just wants the covers of her books to
not embarrass him when he buys them in the bookstores. Her
daughter delights in her mom's books and sends new acquaintances
over to "check out my mom's website" from which
the friends return with "Do you know what your mom writes?"
Her dogs and the cats don't care what happens as long as the
magic food bowls continue to be filled.

Judith
Rochelle aka Emily Brevard
"I've had a lot of firsts
in my life - first female sports report on The Michigan
Daily at the University of Michigan; first woman to own
a rock and roll agency in Detroit, the home of Motown; first
woman president of the Pasco (Florida) Economic Development
Council.
I graduated from the University of Michigan. I had a wild
and wacky time managing rock and roll bands, worked for
a string of weekly newspapers, coordinated a Star Trek convention,
coordinated a series of rock and roll concerts. Did a Midwestern
tour with one of my bands opening for Bob Seger, and did
a tour with Southern rock band Wet Willie. Worked for two
universities before I retired. How much more opposite can
you get!
When I'm not writing, I'm reading - anything and everything
- and watching football, especially my Michigan Wolverines.
I play golf occasionally, and we target shoot a lot - I
can "burn a hole" at fifteen feet. I've been writing
full time for two years. Love With a Proper
Rancher and the Hired Wife
are my first two sales." www.JudithRochelle.com

By
day, Shayla
Kersten is a mild-mannered accountant. By night,
she's a writer of sexy romances. Torn between genres, Shayla
writes erotic stories about hot heroes and their sexy women,
as well as hot men and their passionate heroes. A
native of Arkansas, Shayla spent four years in the Army as
a missile specialist, stationed in Germany and Oklahoma. After
her enlistment was up, she spent eleven years in New York
City taking a bite out of the Big Apple. Even her love of
theatre and the nightlife of the big city couldn't cure terminal
homesickness for the Natural State. In 1995, she returned
to her roots in Arkansas. Shayla
now divides her time between her mother, her spoiled rotten
dogs, her dratted day job and her obsession-writing. And no,
her mother doesn't know what she writes. That's between Shayla,
her dogs and her readers!
